Vino209 Wine Bar & Bistro is known for it’s sophisticated, yet cozy atmosphere and casual upscale dining. Warm up this winter with our European-inspired soups, crafted from local ingredients to chase away the chill. Discover how we turn Iowa winter into a cozy bowl European soups that carry Iowa winter into a cosy bowl. We offer a comprehensive and exceptional wine list that was selected to bring out the flavors of our dishes. Our Executive Chef, Andrew Phelps has developed a creative, innovative & delicious menu that utilizes local ingredients and includes European inspired dishes for lunch, dinner or anytime in-between.

Guests will enjoy our central location in the Historic Valley Junction District with plenty of free parking, unique shopping opportunities and special events. Our 1,700 square foot cafe features seating for 50 guests in the Cafe as well as seating up to 24 in the “Tasting Room”. We have an outdoor patio with seating for up to 24 guests.
The “Tasting Room” and the Cafe can be reserved for private events such as Bridal Showers, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events and more. We offer live music on Tuesday evenings, Free Wine Tasting on Wednesdays and other special events year round.
Our goal at Vino209 is to create a relaxing and cozy atmosphere with delicious food, interesting wines and professional service that will make you want to come back again and again. We love being part of the unique atmosphere that Valley Junction provides and our windows that open to the street that allow our guests to feel part of the variety of events that occur throughout the district while relaxing at Vino.
